The Breakfast Club

YHC didn’t set his alarm, but somehow woke up at 5:12 am. I knew I was going to be late so I texted Pipeline to ask he warm the PAX up until I arrive. I got to the workout 2-3 minutes late, but no Pipeline. Luckily, the PAX prevailed and ran a quick lap wondering where I was at.

Warm-Up: I caught up with the PAX at Varsity and we went to the middle of the soccer field to perform some warm-up exercises. SSH, WMH, Good Mornings, Imperial Walkers, Overhead Claps.

The Thang: Tabata w/music. I found that it was Emilio Estevez’s birthday today, so I had planned on the music being the soundtrack from the movie The Breakfast Club. However, midway through, it changed to 60’s classics which Cat Scratch seemed to enjoy. 2nd Q Fail.

We completed 7 exercises for Tabata. Each exercise, we completed 8 sets where we exercised for 20 seconds and rested for 10 seconds. We had a minute break between each exercise. The 3rd Q fail was when commercials kept coming on during Tabata because I don’t have the paid version of Pandora. Oh well!

Round 6: Squats, squat hold the last three sets

Round 7: Big Boys

On the last minute rest we did burpees, followed by a minute plank for the last minute of the workout.
