YHC gave Dairy Queen his burden to bear: a 32-pound cinderblock. The PAX moseyed from the cars to the top parking lot at VWCC, pausing only once for burpees so DQ could catch up. After a warmup we moved on to The Thang.

The Thang: It’s well-known in F3 lore that Friday the 14th is the unluckiest day for PAX. At least this Friday the 14th was anyway. The group performed a burpee-Big Boy ladder: 13 burpees in the parking lot, then yog down the gravel path and asphalt lane to the white house. One PAX carried the coupon. Then, one Big Boy. The group then ran back to the top with a different PAX carrying the coupon. 12 burpees, yog down the hill with coupon, two Big Boys, etc. Rinse and repeat.

Time grew short so at around 10 burpees we cut the run in half. At around seven burpees, we turned the yog into a mosey back to the cars, stopping along the way to perform the burpees and Big Boys at various intervals. Dairy Queen saw a coyote, but he may have been smoking peyote. We determined there is a large tank under that hill by the top parking lot.

JV was gassy.

After a small eternity, we wrapped up at precisely 6:15 in the parking lot. Announcements, name-o-rama, and Dairy Queen took us away in under 15 seconds.

Total burpees and Big Boys completed: 91 of each.

An honor and a privilege. Happy Friday the 14th. Don’t let a coyote cross your path or you’ll have seven workouts of bad luck.
