Iron Man Workout

Six PAX assembled for a post-Christmas workout and a chance to play with Pipeline’s new Bluetooth speaker.

Warmup: 1 mile out-and-back yog on the greenway

The Thang: The Tony Stark Iron Man workout circuit to a fine selection of tunes blasting across the pitch ITG. More or less the following:

  • Side-straddle hops x 60 seconds. Add 30 seconds each round.
  • Merkins x 10 IC. Throw in some derkins.
  • Lunges x 20 each leg.
  • Dips x 10 IC
  • 10-15 Squats IC
  • Big boys x 30. Throw in a twist with the left elbow to right knee, right elbow to left knee, etc.
  • 10-15 Burpees
  • Plank x 60 seconds–front, then left elbow, then right elbow

Rinse and repeat until 6:15. Recover. Recover.
