Utter Nonsense 1.0

Q: Double Humpee

PAX: Legz, Cat Scratch, Rick James

A la Trivia Mountain, yours truly wanted to try a new game and incorporate it into the workout. It was probably a good thing that the crowd was smaller, as this proved to be a good beta test.

The weather was clear and a tad bit breezy but was plenty warm enough to have more than 4 PAX!

Warm O Rama

Mosey over to the benches by Madison for some poorly counted warm up exercises. We did a bunch of stuff and I don’t remember it all.

The Thang

Run over to Western at the top of the first hill for some Utter Nonsense! The concept was that the Player pulls a green card (not that kind) and a white card. The green card has a voice/accent and the white card has a phrase. The player has to recite the white card using the voice/accent and then the rest of us voted on the quality of the performance. Based on the voting the player had to run up one or two levels on the Western Hills.

Round One – Legz – Didn’t understand the concept and read his card like himself. He ran all the way to the top while we did Big Boys.

Round Two – Rick James – Can’t remember the accent, but he did a good job and only had to run one level while we did American Hammers.

Round Three – Double Humpee – I butchered an Australian accent and ran all the way to the top without even waiting on their voting while they performed Windmills.

Round Four – Cat Scratch – He performed a Cave Man accent and got three thumbs up and only had to run to the next level.

We did a few more rounds and before you knew it, time was up. The game was fun, but I sorta felt like we didn’t get a full workout in. That’s what happens when the gimmick takes over.

No time for Mary!
