LET’S HUG (the ground) DAY!

Conditions: Dark | Early | A warm 37 deg. F | Clear

PAX: Dunphy, Pipeline, Bounty

Q: Bounty

In celebration of national ‘Let’s Hug Day,’ 3 brave souls got intimate with the turf.

WARMUP: PAX ran around parking lot dropping on the Q’s cue of “DROP” to perform 10 Merkins OYO at random for a total of 110 reps. They circled around the statue and ran back to convoy. From there, they sprinted to each lightpole and performed 20 reps at each one before sprinting to the next. Exercises included Dying Cockroaches, Overhead Claps, Box Cutters, Freddie Mercuries, Squats, Hand-Release Merkins, Heels to Heaven, some foul movement called ‘Pickle Pounders’ (shame on you, Pipeline).

THANG: 3 rounds. Alternating Sprint and crawl variations. Round 1 = Sprint to lightpole, Bear Crawl to next, sprint back, and repeat…Round 2 = Sprint to lightpole, Gorilla Crawl to next, sprint back, and repeat…Round 3 = Sprint to lightpole, Crab Walk to next, spring back, and repeat. Sounds easy, but it was brutal.

WARMDOWN: Indian Run.

COT. Announcements: Planning 2nd F before the holidays. Name-o-Rama (Bounty is no longer 26). Too easy, gentlemen.
