Bounty’s VQ

Conditions: 35 deg F | Clear

PAX: Manti, Space Jam, Band Camp, Frizzle, Zebra, Cake, Bounty

Q: Bounty

The PAX yacked and hacked all up and down the length of the Salem Stadium Stairs. Once off of there, they Indian Ran with 10 intermittent Merkins around the field. After that, they circled up mid-field and had a light Circle Warmup of Arm Circles, Windmills, Freddie Mercuries, and more sweet, sweet Merkins.

The THANG:

7-of-Diamonds. 7 rounds of exercises completed at each corner of the football field. Round 1 consisted of 7 burpees at each corner with an OYO Mosey in-between. Round 2, 14 Flutter Kicks. Round 3, 21 Merkins. Round 4 (seeing a pattern yet?), 28 squats. On the 5th round, we subtracted seven and completed (attempted) 21-second planks except Bounty would be sneaky and hold everyone for 25 or 30 seconds.

Because their Moseys were too mosey-ish, we had to cut out Rounds 6 and 7. They would have been painful Side-Straddle Hops and Mountain Climbers, though.

Circle up center-field. Warm-down exercises were PAX choice of ten reps each. Much to everyone’s delight, Cake chose more burpees. Zebra went with Big Boy Crunches. Frizzle did something called Hammer Crunches? Band Camp wanted to do more Burpees because apparently blowing chunks twice in one workout wasn’t enough. Space Jam opted for Penguin Crunches. Last but not least, Manti had us do an exercise that was so much fun I forgot what it was.

COT. Announcements: Cake and Manti rucking like monsters. Zebra’s planning a 2nd F for the 1st week of March. Band Camp’s fianceé looking for employment in Roanoke ASAP. Bounty leaving 2 weeks from the day for Air Force BMT.

Name-o-rama. A lot of hate for those under 30. Bounty took us away.
