11 hearty PAX gathered to welcome back Frack from the Rona and also cheer Manti on as he completed his Ocho.
Warmup: Yog around the block and do some exercises in multiples of eight.
The Thang: Crazy Eights ladder. Gather in the warm neon glow of the Virginia Varsity. The PAX numbered off. Even though Pipeline was number 11, as Q he went first and chose eight burpees. The PAX then run around half the soccer field and back to the starting position. PAX #1, Rick James, picked an exercise to add to the eight burpees. Pipeline chose the reps. Another run. The next PAX chooses an exercise to add; Pipeline chose the reps. Run. Rinse and repeat.
Round 1: Eight burpees, run
Round 2: Add eight LBCs to the eight burpees, run
Round 3: Add 16 Imperial Walkers
Round 4: Add eight squat jumps
Round 5: Add eight ATMs
Round 6: Add 24 forward arm circles
Round 7: Add eight monkey humpers
Round 8: Add 24 overhead claps
After Round 8 of Crazy Eights, we moseyed to the tennis courts for Mary, capped off with eight burpees to complete Manti’s Ocho.
