BOMBS in the rain

Conditions: 34 deg. F | Rain

Eight PAX including an FNG came out to defend #Sparta in the rain on a February Tuesday.

PAX: Band Camp (FNG), Bounty, Cake, Frizzle, Manti, Pipeline, Space Jam, Zebra

Q: Pipeline

Warmup: The #InsaneRuckPosse and Frizzle rolled in as the clock struck 0530 hours. The PAX did a little stair work while the rain was light and then ducked under the friendly confines of Salem Stadium for some exercises and The Thang. Pipeline gave the Disclaimer and also discovered he didn’t know how to count Good Mornings.

The Thang: Stadium BOMBS. Zebra said we couldn’t call it that for safety reasons so a committee was formed to rename the exercise for future use.

Round 1: 50 Burpees. Travel was running the length of the stadium and back x 2.

Round 2: 100 Oprahs, aka boxcutters. Travel was wall hops down and back the length of the stadium x 1.

Round 3: 150 Merkins. Travel was lunge walk down and run back x 1.

Round 4: 200 Big Boys. Travel was bear crawl three pole lengths, run to the end of the stadium and run back. Pipeline called it at 100 big boys in the interest of time. (We counted Stairs in the warmup as our S.)

COT. Please lift up prayers for bone marrow transplant recipient Rowan Price and also for Bounty’s M, who will be undergoing treatment for Lyme disease in Winston-Salem next month. Zebra reminded the group that anyone who wanted to ruck, hit one of the Salem crew up on Slack. After a little discussion, we christened our FNG Band Camp. Welcome Band Camp!

Pipeline took us away.

Always an honor and a privilege!
