Shuttle Run

Conditions: 71 deg. F | Clear | Light breeze

PAX: Cat Scratch, Dunphy, Herschel, JV

Q: Pipeline

Five men gathered on a cool-ish Friday morning at Overlander to get a little better than the day before.

Warmup: Quick yog around the driveway. SSH x 25 IC, Windmills x 15 IC, Jack Webbs x 15 IC, AC x 15 IC, RAC x 15 IC, Squats 15 IC, Willie Mays Hayes x 10 IC, Merkins X 10 IC

Mumble chatter: JV asked if Pipeline had a sub sandwich in his car (no). Cat Scratch asked if there were a place for coffeeteria near Countryside (yes). Another assorted nonsensery. Must be a full moon.

The Thang: PAX grabbed two coupons total from Pipeline’s trunk and formed two lines three parking spaces wide for a team shuttle run. All PAX held a position while the single PAX doing the shuttle run ran across to the other side and retrieved the coupons one at a time. Then that PAX did an exercise, returned to the line and resumed the hold position. A PAX on the opposite side then ran to retrieve the coupons. Repeat until all PAX had run three times, then change positions and exercises.

Round 1: Holding position: plank. Exercise: 15 burpees, then 10, then 5.

Round 2: Holding position: squat. Exercise: 25 merkins, then 15, then 5.

Round 3: Holding position: crab walk hold. Exercise: 15 cadence-count plank jacks, then 10, then 5.

Round 4: Holding position: one-legged balance. Exercise: 15 ATMS, then 10, then 5.

Recover. Recover.
