9/12 Backblast

Such a gloomy morning for the 10 pax that showed for a little PT at victory valley. With the 9/11 stair run and Sparta beatdown on their minds, there was nothing stopping Glee from making the fun…well, FUN!

Warm up:

Starting in the parking deck the pax took an easy mosey out to the street (looking for an FNG) and then returned to the parking deck working their way to the 6th floor by ramp and by stairs. There was quite a bit of mumble chatter as we entered the stairwell. On 6 we circled up for: 40 SSH, 10 WMH, 20 forward arm circles, 20 reverse arm circles, 10 IW, 20 rubios, 20 jack webbs, all IC.

Thang:

Starting on the 6th floor, pax will do a mode of travel (or two) across the deck, run down the stairs to the ground level for, either, an upper body or lower body exercise, then run back up the opposite stairwell to the level just below the previous for some core work. Here’s how it went down:

6th floor: Mode of travel was a deck suicide, down to ground for 10 pop-up merkins, back up to 5 for big boy sit ups until all pax returned. Upon return, each pax does an additional 10 of said core exercise.

5th floor: Lunge walk half way, Imperial squat walkers the second half, down to ground for 20 burpees, back up to the 4th for LBCS.

4th floor: Bear crawl half way, crab walk the second half, down to ground for 30 hand release merkins, up to 3 for Freddie Mercuries.

3rd floor: Caricoa half way facing one direction, then switch facing the other direction for the second half, down to ground for 40 squats, back up to 2 for box cutters.

2nd floor: Traveling burpees half way, run the second half, down to ground for 50 merkins, back up to 1 for flutter kicks.

1st floor: Sprint across the deck, down to ground for 60 Monkey Humpers

6: 15 on the nose-Recover Recover
