Preseason skillz drillz

I was too excited to wait till 5:30 so we jumped the gun at 5:28. 16 PAX started with a quick loop and warmup to save time for the main events. 15 SSH, 10 willie mays hayes, 15 squats, 15 Moroccan night clubs.
 
Travel to bball courts. stopped for 10 merkins b/c Manti lives in a sports bubble and didn't know Messi or Ronaldo and didn't know that Messi trumps Ronaldo. We had to stop again for 10 merkins b/c someone chose the wrong answer again. Lebron trumps Curry- come on people! Cake saves the day by finally answering correctly. Field of Dreams trumps Bull Durham.
 
BBALL COURT
split into 2 teams of 8 guys. one team at each court. The race is on. Losing team does 15 burpees.
 
First half- Merkins
Everyone lines up side by side and starts merkins
Guy on end with the ball starts 2 footed hops over everyone then dribbles down to shoot a layup. Every time someone misses, everyone on that team did 5 burpees
Once you make it, dribble back and give the ball the the next guy and repeat till everyone is done.
Team 1 goes into the locker room with a win. Team 2 does 15 merkins.
 
Second Half- Monkey Humpers
same drill but weave dribble inbetween guys before the layup
Team 2 ties it up with a come from behind win after sinking the oversize money ball
15 burpees for team 1
 
Mosey over to the soccer fields.
 
SOCCER FIELDS
Same drill but with soccer ball and goals. Start at half and dribble till you score. Shoot at any time but if you miss your team has to do burpees till you get the ball and return. Losing team does 15 burpees.
 
First Half- Freddie Mercurys till they score a goal then Merkins on way back
Second Half- Hand Release Merkins
I wasn't getting a lot of oxygen to my brain after this so I don't remember who won but I think each team won a half.
 
On to the baseball fields
 
BASEBALL FIELD
Team 1 went clockwise around the bases. Team 2 counter clockwise. Team exercised while one guy traveled the bases. Losing team did 15 burpees.
 
First Inning
Teams did alternating wall sits and merkins, switching after every 2 guys
Bear crawl to 1st
Crawl bear to 2nd
Crabwalk to 3rd
Walkcrab to home
Team 2 takes the win. Team 1 did 15 burpees whiel team 2 did low squat hold.
 
9th Inning
diamond merkins and a very sandy and dirty LBC
long jump to 1st
backward jog to 2nd
lunge walk to 3nd
run home
Team 1 steals back a win. Everyone wins and everyone does 5 burpees.
 
Recover Recover
Preseason skills workout is always followed by fitness workout. be ready.....
