Warm-up: We took a long lap around the parking lot and squared up near our vehicles to perform some exercises. SSH (Regular pace since Cat Scratch was there), Rubios, Good Mornings, FAC/BAC, 10 merkins OYO
The Thang: Cinderblock Coupons
I brought 4 cinderblocks to Sparta this morning for a circuit workout. There were 4 exercises each round. We performed the exercises as long as it took the timer to run to a designated point and return to the starting point.
Round 1: Block Swings, Overhead Press, Windshield Wipers, and Gobble Squats
Round 2: Skull Crushers (no one was injured), Bicep Curls, Blockees, Thrusters
Round 3: Lunge w/block, Sit-up while keeping block above head (need a name for that), block merkin, and side to side jumps over the block.
We then did some farmer carries and walked with the cinderblocks extended over our heads. We played tag the leader (which was the person performing the farmer carries and extended block carries).
Finished up with some Mary, name-o-rama, and COT!
Great job today fellas! It was nice getting back to Sparta.
