Conditions: 78 degrees, sunny 37 deg. F, overcast, humid
PAX: Cat Scratch (Cash Grab), Dairy Queen, Double Humpee, JV, Legz, Tollbooth, Pipeline, Rick James
Q: Apparently Pipeline; Legz took the second half
Eight PAX (a recent record) arrived and stood around waiting for the Q to take charge. Apparently that was Pipeline, who had signed up but forgotten. Half-joking, he led the group to the Fishburn Elementary parking lot sidewalk, where he led them through a warmup, still wondering who was Q. At this point, realizing he may actually be Q, Pipeline did a Thang.
The Thang: Yog to the school playground. Several PAX who will remain unnamed had to check their restraining orders to make sure the courts allowed this, but it was before school hours. The PAX circled up and did a stationary exercise while each PAX took turns doing five pullups on the playground equipment. After one rotation through the group, the stationary exercise changed and the next round of five pullups began. This continued until all PAX completed 25 pullups. The playground mulch was deemed the ideal surface for this activity.
Then blessedly Legz took over, but this sucked too. We ran up and down the big grassy hill between James Madison Middle and Brambleton, doing exercises at the top and bottom. Everyone was pleased that no one snapped a leg in a gopher hole.
Then we did Mary. Announcements: Someone should check on Glee! Name-o-rama and Pipeline took us away. Dairy Queen was exempt from the prayer.
An honor! Thanks, Legz!
