I asked the night before who was man enough to wear shorts this morning and teased the group by telling them I had planned to share coffee and donuts if everyone wore shorts. Since only 3 of the 6 pax wore shorts, I told them the deal was off not knowing what Cat Scratch was going to unveil at the end of the workout.
Warm-Up: Mosey around the parking lot loop and circle up at our usual spot. Performed SSH, WMH, Abe Vigoda, Good Mornings, Forward/Reverse Arm Circles, overhead claps, and slow squats. Then mosey to the top of the parking lots at VWCC.
The Thang: The Bill Murray
I wanted to give the PAX a break from hills and stairs this morning, so I chose just one hill (as DH pointed out) and decided to do some terrible exercises over and over and over again followed by a lap.
Each round consisted of 10 burpees, 10 squats, 10 merkins, and 10 big boys. We then took a lap around the top parking lot of VWCC. We repeated this 6 times. I think the pax caught on about round 3. As our brother, Acorn, once said, it would be just like working at the soda factory. I added 1 burpee at the end just to do one more burpee than Dunphy did last week at Overlander.
During the middle of this, Cat Scratch was calling my name and I answered back repeatedly with no reply from Cat Scratch. I started to worry, but then he finally answered me and told me of his surprise.
We then mosey back to our starting point and finished up with name-o-rama and COT.
Cat Scratch then gifted us with a box of coffee and donuts!
