6 manly PAX got after it to start the week
Warmup: Mosey to Franklin to Reserve to the parking lot at Rivers Edge North. (AKA: Dunphy’s route). We performed 10 derkins, 10 step-ups on the tall rock wall, 10 derkins, 10 squats, and 10 derkins. We then circled up and performed 50 SSH’s, 10 WMH’s, 15 forward arm circles, 15 over head claps (some performed a different version). We then mosey down the path a performed 10 IC dips at the bleachers and continued to the footbridge. We then Everest across the bridge and mosey back to the tennis courts on Wiley.
The Thang: Animal Crawls
In an effort to stay close to the ground since it was windy and cold and to expend some of the early mumble chatter, we (the PAX agreed) performed various animal crawls on the tennis courts. We partnered up and partner 1 would crawl to the other end of the tennis courts while partner 2 performed an exercise at the starting point. When partner 1 finished, they switched.
Round 1: 4 bear crawls and then a burpee. Rinse and repeat to the end. P2: Merkins
Round 2: Crab Walk, squats. I heard DQ say his crab died halfway through. Hermit crabs don’t live that long anyway.
Round 3: Inch Worm, monkey humpers. This is where I noticed we had an audience at the gazebo playing music at 6 in the morning. Should of EH’d them.
Round 4: Gorilla Crawl, Alternating should taps
We then did three rounds of suicide sprints at the suggestion of Dairy Queen.
