A Fine Fall Morning

A nice cool 51 degree fall morning greeted us. Ahh, Fall is finally here!

We started out running to Reserve Ave. where we stopped a few times to perform some Merkins, Monkey Humpers, and Squats. We arrived at the parking lot for the new fields where we enjoyed some warmups: SSH, IWs, Arm Circles, Jack Webbs, Good Mornings, LBCs, Mtn. Climbers, Plank Jacks, and I beleive a few other exercises.

We then ran to the last parking lot on the right where we performed some Mt. Everest across the lot. We then broke up into two groups where one group ran around the parking lot loop while the other performed an exercise and then swapped. Merkins, Burpees, and Squats.

We then moved on towards the bridge crossing the Roanoke River. We stopped first to crank out 10 Merkins. At the bridge we broad jumped to the middle and then ran the second half.

After that we ran down Wiley Drive stopping in the road at each stop light to perform an exercise: Munkey Humpers, Squats, Spider mans, Merkins, and LBCs.

We arrived at the tennis courts and and ran around the outside of the courts, stopping at the far corner to perform 10 Merkins, then back to where we started with 10 Squats. Repeat with Monkey Humpers and LBCs.

We then moved on to the field. Where we lined up to run the width of the field. Stop at mid-field to perform an exercise (SSH) continue to the other side, run back and repeat exercise then run back and perform an exercise (Squats). We did this a few times while perfoming other exercises.

We then ran to mid-field and back then the full width of the field and back. It was so good we did it again!

We finished off with some Mary: A variety of stuff including 6-inch holds, banana boat holds, V-ups, and some flutter kicks.

Namarama, announcements (3rd F tonight at Our Daily Bread at 6:30 pm), and a short prayer.
