QIC: Double Humpee
PAX: Dunphy, Rapinoe, Legz, and Blue Magic
The Q laid down the gauntlet and called out our beloved Pipeline, but got no response. Q taps into imaginary microphone and says “is this thing on?” Oh well, there was a potential Pipeline bonus but that will have to be cancelled.
Warm O Rama
We moseyed all the way over to the parking areas by Gators. We did some SSHs and then saw Blue Magic rolling in late in White Thunder (That’s his car) so we did a few Burpees while he very slowly made his way to the circle. Then we moved on to Arm Circles, Hillbillies during which I was called some names, Shoulder Taps and I’m sure something else.
The Thang
We traveled over to LFH and did some Toy Soldiers and tried a reverse Indigenous Peoples Run (Where the leader runs to the back of the line and this repeats as we keep moving forward).
At the LFH we found a mobile radar machine and several attempts were made to register a score on the screen. If this had worked, this would have radically altered the workout.
At the LFH it was time for Wheel of Torture with Jack Saypat. The wheel got spun and exercises were done at various light poles up the hill. Even though Catscratch wasn’t there the question was asked if the very first pole counted, and the answer was and always is NO.
We did a few rounds with Carolina Dry Docks, LBCs, Mountain Climbers, Mountain Merkins. We ran up to the top once, did some mall power walking, and ran some shorter distances too.
We then moseyed back in time for a short session of Mary
Mary
Flutters, Box Cutters, and Moon Gods (Thanks to Piney these might be a new thing)
Since Pipeline didn’t join us there was no Pipeline bonus and we ended one minute early. Fun was had by all.
Announcements
Start EHing guys via text, phone call, and show up to their house or places of employment at all hours of the day. When it gets cold, we tend to see our numbers drop, so now is a good time to encourage fellas to keep coming out.
Tomorrow is the long-awaited Blacksburg launch. Check slack for details but Freddie Mac and Centrum are taking cars down tomorrow.
Would it be possible to be added to the Slack? I am interested in coming to a workout
Sorry for the delay Just saw this on the website. give me a shout or shoot me a text and I will get you connected with NRV or Roanoke. Thanks Freddie Mac – Nantan 540-520-4139
