Sparta, Salem, VA
Conditions: 50 deg. F, windy
PAX: Dunphy, Manti, Pipeline, Zebra
Q: Pipeline
Pipeline can’t do math in his head apparently. But it didn’t stop four OG PAX from putting it to it this morning.
Short yog from the cars to the statue of the founder of F3 Salem, Andrew Lewis. 25 SSH, 15 IW, 10 Abe Vigodas.
Suddenly, Manti appeared from out of the darkness like Batman. The gas station had tried to hold his debit card, but he ripped the pump out of the ground and threw it out in the road. That made him a little late.
The THANG: Pipeline stole a page from his old friend and great-uncle Cat Scratch: The F3 600, originally 500, good thing we didn’t go with 400. This is where Pipeline’s math comes in. The F3 600 is:
- 25 burpees
- 50 big boys
- and 75 squats…
…with a 100 yard yog in between, all times four, for a total of 600 reps: 100 burpees, 200 big boys and 300 squats. Pipeline had it in his head that 25+50+75 was 125, so he sold it as the F3 500, until Dunphy called him out on his bullshit. Pipeline told the PAX how to break up the reps, but that didn’t add up either. Also, it’s good that Pipeline didn’t go soft and aim for an F3 400, or we’d have had about 15 minutes to kill.
At any rate, the PAX dove into it. Zebra really regretted coming. Dunphy was glad we had thick, soft, dry grass for the big boys because his monkey butt is still healing from last week. Manti just got quiet and did work.
At 6:07 we yogged back to the cars, mission accomplished. Recover. Recover. Manti said he tried to get his nephew to come this morning, but his nephew heard burpees and backed out. Sounds like a lot of our PAX (zing). Name-o-rama and Pipeline took us away.
An honor and a privilege!
