Wednesday Workout

PAX: Pipeline, Double Humpy, HC3, Freddie Mac, Dairy Queen, Klick Bait, Cat Scratch

Q: Cat Scratch

Warmup: Run up the ramps to the 4th floor and stopping along the way at various points to perform an exercise, which included squats, merkins, jumping up and touching a web 10x, and LBCs. Mode of travel included running forwards, backwards, bear crawls, crab walk, and skipping (and at times, touching each concrete web).

Run down stairs to G to conduct some additional warmups: Burpees (since HC3 had to stop for a wardrobe change, and DQ would not stop talking), SSHs, IWs, Parker Peters, Good Mornings, WMHs, arms circles, and star jumps.

Thang:

  1. PAX Pick a 3×5 index card that has written on it the name of an exercise.  
  2. Complete the exercise. If there is no listed amount of reps, complete exercise for 1 minute.
  3. Other PAX roll the big 12-sided foam die that has a different exercise with the number of reps on each side (one side has a water break, which equates to jumping rope for 2 minutes).
  4. Then roll a traditional die numbered 1-6 to determine the parking garage level they will run up to using the west stairs (Note: Apparently, HC3 believes the die was rigged as he continuously rolled 5)
  5. After running the stairs, alternate between the index cards and the large die for the exercises. (Note: Some of the PAX had a difficult time understanding simple, detailed instructions and complained about being confused. Sad, sad, sad.)
  6. Repeat.

After a period of time, we gathered to wall sit for a bit. Later, we ran down the length of the ground floor and back.

We then gathered for some Mary.

Pipeline formally presented HC3 with his Ocho shirt. Nice job HC3! Will see you next spring (though he advised we MAY see him before then….right).
