QIC – Double Humpee
PAX – JV (Dressed in multiple sweaters), Cat Scratch, Pipeline, Frack (In shorts), Legz (Also in shorts)
6 men ventured out into the cold, dark tundra of Overland. Many of us were fooled by last night’s foretasted temps, but some of us adjusted our clothing choices and others didn’t. It was a bit chilly, especially if you thought you were headed for 46 balmy degrees.
Warm o Rama
Quick yog around the lower school parking lot to see if any late arrivals showed, and then continued down to Overland. We ran over to the Virginia Western Construction Disaster Zone and warmed up.
#SSHs, #Imperial Walkers, #SpeedyWindmills, #Arm Circles, #Reversies, #SSHs again because JV was talking too much.
The Thang
We played Wheel of Torture with Jack Saypat. Somehow JV reconfigured my phone so that it only spun low numbers related to the light pole distances. We only had one trip to six and that was about it. Many trips to lightpole #2 as well, but nothing at the very top. The exercises were Merkins, Burpees, LBCs, trying not to get run over, Step Back Lunges, Arm Circles.
At the bottom we did a low squat hold, and each shared our “ridiculous” childhood job ideas. We learned that Cat Scratch wanted to apprentice with Eli Whitney. JV wanted to run a storage business, and Pipeline had dreams of being a wasteful oil baron.
Mary
After a yog back up to Virginia Western we made sweat angels on the parking lot. Fun was had by all.
