One trip up the LFH

Conditions: 71 deg. F | Humid | Light breeze

PAX: Cat Scratch, Double Humpee, Herschel, Johnny 5, Legz, Pipeline, Rick James

Q: Pipeline

Because it’s Friday and it’s been a long, four-day week, we took it easy, climbed the LFH once, and called it a morning.

We yogged over from Gator, dodging traffic cones, and assembled at the bottom of the hill. In order to maximize our enjoyment of the hill, the roar of traffic on 220 and the train going by (the sounds of nature), we decided to saunter from light post to light post, giving ourselves four minutes between each one.

Cat Scratch recommended, and after a committee review the group agreed, to perform 25 hand release merkins, 25 big boys and 25 squats in each four-minute interval before advancing to the next light pole. Any time remaining between your arrival at the next light pole and the four-minute mark was left for each PAX to use for quiet meditation, bird watching, or bitching and moaning. We decided to bear crawl to the penultimate light pole and then yog to the top in order to conclude our morning gathering at or around 6:15.

COT, announcements and an Executive Decision to meet at Cabo Fish Taco for lunch. A good time was had by all, and I’m sure we’ll visit the LFH again soon.
