Look There’s DQ

Friday morning at the Overlander.

Pax : Double Humpee, Chaps, Crustashe , Seabiscuit

Q : Seabiscuit

Started with a jog around the circle drive then to the upper parking deck.

Warm up part 1 : SSH and Merkins. Each pax leads us in 10 IC SSH followed by 10 oyo Merkins , twice around the circle.

Warm up part 2 : Hops and Freddy Mercury. Line up and take 5 hops then 40 Freddy Mercury’s… 5 Rounds.

The Races :

Partner up : Seabiscuit and Crustashe vs Chaps and Double Humpee.

Race 1 with 2 heats : Railroad Race – Partner runs to first light and planks before 2nd partner runs railroad over him to the next light post. Continue 6 light posts. Chaps got a head start at the beginning with a distraction by pointing to the road and yelling “Look there’s DQ”. Teams split the heats πŸ™‚

Race 2 with 2 heats : Hop, Travel burpee, Lunge walk – line up and partners together take 10 hops, 10 Travel Burpees, and 20 Lunge walk. Winners based on farthest and first to finish. Both heats to DH and Chaps πŸ™

Race 3 with 2 heats : Leap Frog Race – line up and partner runs to first light post and low squat hold then 2nd partner runs leap frog over him and to next light post for 6 light posts. Split the heats πŸ™‚

Race 4 with 2 heats : Repeat Hop, Travel Burpee, Lunge walk for distance and time with 10 Hops, 10 Travel Burpees, 20 Lunge walks. Both heats to DH and Chaps πŸ™

Final Exercise : 15 – 10 – 5 of 2 exercises. Hand Release Merkins and LBC’s.

Jog back to parking lot and Recover, Recover.
