Date: 4/7/2018
Conditions: 50F with rain impending
Q: Acorn
PAX: Dunphy, Herschel, Double Humpee, Acorn
I’d been planning this one for weeks – everyone knew what they were getting themselves into before the first step, so a short backblast is all that’s needed.
Rules:
- stay with partner
- Each group can only carry one object at a time (lots of trips to “home”)
- Don’t be last
Station 1: “The choo-choo train”
the group (both groups in this case) line up single file and run one lap around the track. Person in front pretends to circle a lasso overhead while the rest of the pax (with hands on the hips of the person in front of them) take turns saying, “chugga-chugga, chugga-chugga, choo-choo!” Herschel was not very pleased that his father had come to watch. It could have been worse though. There were about 20 spectators at the track when we finished up at 0730!
Station 2: 100 Cinder Block (kettle bell) swings
State 3: Latex Gloves
Don’t leave any prints behind or you’ll get caught steeling. (could have made this a “bend over and get ready”, or “turn head and cough”…) but the task was to sprint from one base to another a do a slide into the base.
Stations 4: Paper Airplane
You may take the object after you learn how to fly. Do 150 overhead claps (collectively).
Station 5: face paint (it was actually shoe polish)
Don’t let anyone see you as you go up to touch the fence. Do an ultra low army crawl (belly on the ground)
Station 6: Suicidal King of hearts
everyone runs suicides on the football field – from goal line to 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10
Station 7: Easter Eggs
Cadbury Bunny hop up the stairs three times each
Station 8: Circles (frisbee)
Do 100 arm circles each
Station 9: Sandbags
all team members stands around looking pretty while one member performs the sandbag thruster toss for ~100 yards.
Station 10: silver dollar
prove your patriotism by doing 100 Merkins and 100 American hammers collectively
COT and Donuts for the winner. Frack was not a winner.
