Ok, no matter what he says let it be known that BlindSpot came up with todays workout and emailed me the plan Sunday. So don’t blame me…
Warm up on the run….this was to ensure PAX were good and loose for the game. On lap 2 around the field we did arm circles on the run and Jack Webbs on the run. Lap three included some butt kickers and a brief circle for WMH IC, Windmills IC and 20 merkins IC.
Then we jog again…this time we head across the the football fields…but on the way we decided to do some lunge walking across the bridge
OK, at the field we run the the 50 yard line and partner up and prep for the game. 1s vs 2s. The 1s start on offense…they get to advance 10 yards after completing 20 merkins and keep repeating this until they are “caught” by the 2s. The 2s have to sprint to the other end zone and then back to catch the 1s. Then the 2s start the merkin/10 yard offense and the 1s run. 10 minutes of this. There was pretty much no movement by any offense…just like the Buffalo-Carolina game.
Half time. 10 second break. In the second half we play the same game but replace merkins with squats and sprinting with skipping. Another 10 minutes on the clock. There was pretty much no movement by any offense…just like the Buffalo-Carolina game.
Shockingly, the game was tied at naught at the end. (If Gator-loving Glee was here he would have participated solo in a Hail Mary run while everyone else relaxed and watched…but alas no Gator-loving Glee). So we went into overtime. At the fifty yard line we partner up and partner carry to the end zone. Switch and return. Times two for good measure. We did have one crash…but all were OK.
Then we head back to the cars. After the bridge we did a jail break to get back to the cars where we circled up for Mary.
Mary included AHs, HTHs, FKs, LBCs, PCs, Side crunches, BCs and Drunk Commodores (lay on back and swing legs to each side).
Recover, recover.
45 minutes passed without any mumble chatter from CatScratch.
