9 Pax showed up on a dreary Wednesday morning for a pinkalicious beat down…
There seemed to be a camera crew (of one) at the parking lot, so we had to show off…we started with a slaughter start…15 burpees OYO. Then we waved to camera as we moseyed to the parking deck.
In the parking deck we started with fast paced SSH (60 – IC). Then WMH, Windmills, and arm circles. Then we concluded with another 50 fast paced SSH.
With hearts-a-racing, we did a railroad run to the 3rd floor. Each time we planked we added in 8 merkins just for fun….because after all it is spring break.
Then onto the main event. We started with 10 burpees, then ran up the stairs to the 6th floor. Then 20 derkins, run across the deck to the other set of stairs, then bear crawl down the stairs to the 3rd floor (note: this was a blast!! Solo said he had yet to bear crawl down stairs…so this was designed for him, but he was MIA). Then 30 squats, run across the deck to the original stairwell and commence to start over. Repeat 3 times. Flutter kicks, LBCs, and penguin crunches while we wait for everyone to finish.
It took a little longer than expected (but no one lost teeth on the down stairs bear crawl, so thats a plus). We modified the last exercise which was supposed to be a merkin jacobs ladder on the stairs. Instead in the last 5 minutes we did it running across the width of the 3rd floor. Each round we aimed for 50 merkins (40-10, 30-20, 20-30, 10-40).(At this point, the quote of the morning was uttered by Puffs, “Thats seems like a lot”). Time expired, as did all of the PAX.
Everyone seemed a little spent…..
