The Thang

Introducing the “Dice of Death.” I thought this quite a Pinky thing to do, thus I anticipated some difficulty and bellyaching. There was a pair of dice, one with standard numbers and one with exercises on them. The idea was to roll the exercise, and then roll the number. Initially I thought the numbers would be multiplied X10, but after we rolled a 6 on the first exercise with Burpees, we realized that we were in unsustainable territory. Thus I called an audible and did multiples of 5 (where appropriate)

1st Roll – Burpees X 60 – We modified and ended up doing 30

Then take a run up to the 6th Floor

2nd Roll – Burpees X 50 – We did 25 Burpees and then ran to the 5th floor

3rd Roll – Hand Release Merkins X 50 – We did these until failure which was short of 50 for most of us. Run to the 5th floor.

4th Roll – Squats X 20 – Hooray we had something easy, this time we ran up the ramp and back

5th Roll  – Mountain Climbers X 20 – In Cadence, Run up the ramp and back

6th Roll – 20 Hand release Merkins – Run to the 2nd floor

7th Roll – Stay or play? Stay and do the exercise or run the number of stairs. The roll was 20 Merkins, and we all decided to do both. We ran the stairs and did the Merkins.
