All the running we skipped last week

11 PAX showed up on a chilly morning for a case of the Mondays. Double Humpee was particularly excited that Cat Scratch slept in and would not be here to egg Pinky on to making the worked harder…

We warmed up with 2 laps around the field.

We detoured into the tennis courts and finished our warm ups. 50 SSH IC; 10 WMHs IC; 30 rubios IUC; 30 forward arm circles then 31 reverse arm circles IC; 20 Imperial walkers IC and while moving forward to tighten the circle. Then we ended with frog merkins (one PAX hops each of the other PAX that are holding a plank…5 merkins everytime a frog hops you)….Cake was confused by this workout…but what he suggested instead made BlindSpot very nervous since they would have been paired up. No further questions were asked. 😐

Then to the rail outside the tennis courts…the high ones. 10 step ups each leg. Double Humpee had a region of the rail that was designed for BlindSpot….it was way too high for DH…he had to do a pullup before he could do the step up. Then we crossed the gravel road to do dips on the lower railings. Then 3 sets of arm chairs (10 count each round).

On to the running. Pair up. One PAX runs a lap (fast — 65 seconds or less) the other did an exercise. Switch, repeat. Exercises were squats, monkey humpers, toy soldiers, dips, derkins.

Back to the tennis courts….another round of frog merkins (3 merkins when hopped), then 1 minute of LBCs and 1 minute of flutter kicks.

Recover, recover.
