Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Warm Up:

We started by running a lap around the field closest to the parking lot.

Moseyed to the middle of the field, circled up and did the following:

* 30 SSH, 20 OHC, 20 IW, 10 WMH all in cadence

The Thang:

Moseyed over to side of the field and did the following 3x:

* 10 Step up for each leg, 15 Dips, 15 Derkins and run to end and back of the field.

Moseyed over to front of bridge connecting riverside and Rivers Edge, Lunge walked across the bridge, and moseyed over to soccer field.

At soccer field, we:

* Crabcrawled to the middle of the field, ran side-to-side to end of field, and ran back to starting position.

* Partner Wheel Barreled the entire length of field, with one partner going to the end and the other back to starting position.

The original plan was to do BLIMPS at soccer field, head back and finish with a round of Mary. But Catscratch planted an idea in my head when we arrived at the soccer field – he asked if I played soccer and I replied that baseball, basketball and football were my sports. With the start of the baseball season and warm weather, it was a no brainer to head to the nearby baseball park and use it for a few additional exercises. Catscratch – thank you!

Moseyed over to Baseball Park:

* The PAX squatted against the first line fence while each PAX moseyed to home plate to do 5 merkins, 5 squats, pretend to hit an inside home run and

run the bases at max speed. I was hoping to see someone slide into home plate but no dice.

* The PAX then rounded the bases doing: High Knees to first base, traveling Burpees to second base, Bear Crawling to third base and Overhead Hand Claps.

* We a Railroad run back to the River Side.

Mary:

* Dealer’s choice: LBCs, Box Cutters, American Hammer, Plank-o-rama, Flutter Kicks, Penguin Crunches.
