Lazy Doras and Honoring the Clemson Tigers Winning the Natty!

They say that every once in a while a blind squirrel finds an Acorn. Well, I’m here to tell you that 8 PAX didn’t see a single Acorn, despite being told we’d find one. I wonder what happened?

Warmorama

In honor of the first national championship for the Clemson Tigers in 35 years

we did:

35 SSH

16 Merkins (2016 National Champs)

15 Windmills

35 Mountain Climbers

The Thang

If the Q is anything, he’s a little lazy with planning. Any workout that doesn’t involve too much planning is what he’s all about. Thus, the Lazy Doras.

PAX partner up (Size doesn’t matter – wink wink nudge nudge)

Teams had to complete 100 merkins, switching roles at each increment of 10. While the one partner was doing merkins, the other held a plank position.

Teams then had to complete 200 LBCs, switching roles at each increment of 20. While the one partner was doing the LBCs, the other held a 6 inch hold

Teams then had to complete 300 squats, switching roles at each increment of 30. While the one partner was doing the squats, the other held a tree hugger/Al Gore position.

Between each exercise the entire group waited in the People’s Chair

Rise and repeat, though this time we did a modified Dora 1.2.3 which was really a Dora 1.2.2

Pax did the same exercises, but the other partner ran to the end of the parking deck and back, then they switched roles.

Announcements

Tonight is our 3rd edition of the 2nd F at Fork in the Alley. I think it is at 7PM, and if you were at the last one you know how much fun it was. Give a shout out to the group is you’re planning on coming.

Sign ups are continuing for the wasUPwidis stair run. So far F3 Roanoke has 6 guys, and we think we’re aiming for a team of 10. If you haven’t done so already join the fun.
